  1. Accel height

I filled out a bug report quite a while back, but never got a response. During departure, the aircraft again ignores the Accel height entered in the MCDU. It always wants to accelerate at 3000' AGL.
  2. Very low FPS on MFD/PFD Only

Seems to run much more smoothly for me as well.
  3. 1.0.9.9 feedback

The acceleration height is broken again as well. No matter what you put in the MCDU it pitches down about 3000'AGL.
  4. Very low FPS on MFD/PFD Only

    Latest P3D v4
  5. Very low FPS on MFD/PFD Only

Mine are incredibly laggy with HR on, but without it's better. The displays are still quite laggy though. Looking out the window or external view it's smooth as glass and 30-60FPS always.
  6. Accel height

On the MCDU, the height for CLB thrust works, the aircraft responding to the Accel height is broken again for me. Taking off from KALB-KDTW I entered a CLB thrust reduction for 1285 and an Accel height of 1285. The aircraft nosed over to accelerate at roughly 3000' AGL instead of the 1000' AGL I entered.
  7. 717 Throttles stopped responding

I can confirm this as well. Not too fun falling out of the sky on final.
  8. MCDU issues

Since downloading the newest update as of 8-11-2017, the 717 has become unflyable for me on P3D v4. I was flying KDCA-KDTW via RWY1 BUFFR J518 DJB GEMNI4. Upon entering the STAR and selecting runway 21L via COUNT, the flightplan on the MCDU rapidly flashes and it cannot be interacted with due to the constant flashing. It seems to only do it after selecting the STAR and runway. Before that, it's fine. I did manage to take off, but while getting 30-50FPS and the sim appearing smooth outside of the cockpit, my gauges and screens are very laggy and studdering. I have tried to run with and without hardware acceleration and nothing changes. Aside from the FADEC oscillating during the previous update, it ran very smoothly before

  10. Throttle Fluctuations

    1. Do you use any weather program? Does it happen in default weather also? ASP4. Don't use default weather.2. Does fluctuation only happens in ATS speed hold mode or also in CLB THRUST or IDLE THRUST? For me, CLB Thrust and ATS speed hold.3. Does manual thrust also result in oscillations? No. I can hand fly and taxi just fine.4. Does the speed trend fluctuate heavily on the PFD? The speed and VS doesn't fluctuate much. It's the EPR and N1 and yoke that seem to bounce back and fourth quickly.5. Are your displays stuttering? No.6. What sim do you use? When using the same COB version, does it happen in other sims as well? The latest P3D V4. No issues in FSX:SE.7. Does the fluctuation only happen in a certain speed/altitude region? A video would be helpful if there is a specific region for the fluctuation. No. I flew several different flights and had it happen. Latest was KALB-KDTW. When all of this happens, I keep getting an insufficient fuel message in the MCDU that flashes on and off repeatedly along with a random line that appears on the MFD then disappears. It pops up when ever the fuel message comes on the MCDU. I've also gotten the landing gear warning when retracting the landing gear during takeoff as well. Also, on the PROG page, my EFOB to KDTW was at 7.5 so I know I had plenty of fuel but during the flashing, it keeps flashing to 0.
  11. Throttle Fluctuations

I just made the jump to P3D V4 and I'm having the same exact things happening to me. Also with a random line appearing and an insufficient fuel message that keep flashing. Any ideas?
  12. Preselect DES

    I believe so, yes.
  13. Preselect DES

One issue I've noticed is with PRESELECT DES and it's function. I've tried editing it on the ground and in the air and nothing changes it. My ECON DES is 251/.765. When I edit it, it goes unchanged in the MCDU and in flight as well. I tried to edit it and the numbers do not change and the aircraft ignores them as well. Attached are screenshots, Flight was KSTL-KDTW. Route was JHART4 VHP FWA MIZAR4. Runways were 12R for departure, ILS22RZ for arrival with INKSR. *Updated as persists in 1.0.7.8*
  14. VNAV still needs some work

One thing I also noticed when using the edit line on the ECON DES page, when I put a random value of something like 280/.760 and when it comes time to descend there's also some issues I've noticed. Keep in mind, the editing is done on the ground during preflight. Anyway, the past few times I've tried it the aircraft either porpoised around a bit during descent or completely ignored it. During my last flight I had an ECON DES of 245/.764. When I edited and selected my own value of 280/.760 the aircraft just plain ignored it and descended at 245kts all the way down from FL350.
  15. Well, whaddya know...

I took the 717 out for it's maiden voyage with a flight to officially add to my VA's logbook. It's been a long road and despite a few issues, this plane has really came together. Almost 99% of the issues with it I've personally had have been ironed out and I managed to fly a standard textbook flight with no issues at all. I think I may have found a new favorite airplane for short hauls. Yeah, I was definitely a hard critic and there's a few issues I'm hoping that still get some attention and I'm sure they will. However, I now wanna say thanks to TFDI for sticking with it and making this thing pretty slick. GG guys and here's to tons of more flights in my logbook.
