About This File

A plane for the purist who want to see it as the MD-95 before it was labeled the Boeing 717-200. The aircraft never flew as an MD-95 following the merger of McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. Due to the amount of orders placed for the MD-95/B717 by Valujet/AirTran, Hawaiian, Midwest and others, Boeing kept the plant line open for another 9 years.

There is an option file for the engines if you wish to have the Rolls Royce and BMW logos placed on the engines.
