    Setting the Transponder Code

Based on videos I’ve seen I’d say the first two are the wrong way around (left base, left top) but for the life of me I can’t find the videos to link to!!! sorry

Hi, From what I can find out. MD11, DC10,9,8, MD80 series and the Boeings all have it as described. Basically the B717 would have to be the only Douglas/MD or Boeing (that I can find) not this way around. I seem to remember that PMDG had it the 'wrong' way around on one of their first releases many years ago but then corrected it with a service pack. Many thanks for looking at this.

That would be a real shame

    P3D v4.3 .....717 V1.1 Crash To Desktop

I had exactly the same thing for months with some of the Beta versions, then they suddenly disappeared, but now thy're back - CTD on view change. I'm desperately trying to remember what I've changed in the meantime, to see if that's related. I'll keep trying and report back.

I'm glad it's not just me! You'll see below I raised it last December - but it's still pending. Hopefully the guys will change it. I know there are a lot of exciting new features coming but it would be nice to get things like this sorted first!

    Radio & TCAS Tuning

Hi, I've done a little research and can't find specific reference to the 717, but the MD11, 737/57/77/47 and the MD80 appears to be as follows, so I think it's the same for the 717. If you were tuning the four digits in the transponder from left to right the sequence should be: Outer/Inner/Outer/Inner at the moment the sequence is: Outer/Inner/Inner/Outer. I hope this is of some use. Great plane!

    Radio & TCAS Tuning

Thanks for getting back to me. I think it's just the right hand transponder knobs that are the wrong way around, but I'll see if I can find something to back it up. Not a deal breaker obviously!!

    Radio & TCAS Tuning

Sorry - I posted this in the wrong section before. A couple of minor ones which I've been holding off on. They might not be bugs but more my lack of understanding so perhaps someone can put me straight! 1. Transponder tuning knobs - are the co pilot's side knobs inverted, should they be the other way around as per a 737? 2. Comms Radio - when you tune the decimal frequency in trips the main digit up and down when passing .000. I know that was default FSX behaviour but I'm not sure if that's the case on the real thing? Thanks in advance. Only trying to help so apologies if I haven't made myself clear!
  14. Hi guys, Firstly, congratulations on an ever improving product. A couple of minor ones which I've been holding off on. 15. Completely agree. Generally I don't get the CTD's when not switchhing views. I have found that I can 'make it' crash if I want to though. Yesterday I was short of time so didn't have time to finish my flight so thought I'd experiment - I haven't got ChasePlane so just cycles the default P3D external views a few times. No problems at all while doing this, but as soon as I returned to the VC the sim crashed. I also think that the longer you are 'outside' the more chance of a CTD when returning to VC.
