  1. Place the texture folder into your 717 main folder and then view the readme file. Copy the info at the bottom into the Aircraft.cfg file and type the number in order of aircraft in the [fltsim.XX] line.
  2. Great stuff! Really liking those metallic textures. I was in San Diego the weekend of the Expo and stayed not too far away. Wanted to go and see what you all have been up to but I had other arrangements. Until next time.

I'm uploading the metal repaint kit I made for myself that I used on Eastern, TWA, recently USAir and other repaints. I won't be painting any new planes and therefore I won't need this but hopefully other painters will. The readme file has some vague instructions on layers and textures leaving it free to the user to do what they want with it. Contact me if you have any questions. Enjoy!

A plane for the purist who want to see it as the MD-95 before it was labeled the Boeing 717-200. The aircraft never flew as an MD-95 following the merger of McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. Due to the amount of orders placed for the MD-95/B717 by Valujet/AirTran, Hawaiian, Midwest and others, Boeing kept the plant line open for another 9 years. There is an option file for the engines if you wish to have the Rolls Royce and BMW logos placed on the engines. Enjoy!
  10. There's a switch on the lower left side of the Capt's PFD or lower right of the FO's PFD that says "FLT DIR OFF". That should clear it.
  11. Are you using it on FSX or P3D? The screenshots were taken in P3D. I adjusted my brightness and saturation a bit then. I've adjusted it again since so I couldn't tell exactly where to set it. I also didn't use any shaders.

  14. Thanks! I don't have a font for "Bringing People Together". I had to draw it from a template. Good luck to you.

Fictional Pan Am paint. Pan Am never operated a DC-9 series aircraft. The only Douglas type that was close was the DC-8 (and DC-10). So this was just for fun. Enjoy!
