  1. Looks like I've just had a "view switch" CTD enroute from KLGA to KIAD. I had changed the time of day to evening to check out the new lighting (which is, btw, fantastic - thanks for that) and then went to an external view. No ChasePlane, but using ActiveSky.     ETE/ETO/ETA again

    Hi - per my previous report on the above, which seems to have disappeared. Thanks for nearly fixing it - there's just one small oversight left to do. The F-PLN page looks great and the PROG page is almost right, except the DEST is still showing as an ETE rather than an ETA (and that ETE doesn't seem to be dynamically updating as time progresses ignore this - can't now replicate). Also wind data not showing. See attached FCOM page for correct display. Cheers Paul
  4. Can I bump this to see if there has been any progress?? From other forums it seems that the Virtual Avionics guys are working on a professional project and we are still waiting for them to get around to the PMDG 747. Have you guys also reached out to Mark Foti, who seems to be more responsive? Also what about doing it the Aerosoft or FSL way and offering a built in webserver? That's nowhere near as good as the dedicated solutions, but it's a stopgap at least. Cheers

  6. Please see attached video (had to zip to get it to upload) as it explains better than I can in words - magenta line drawing gets confused and cycles between three choices (2 of which are clearly silly). OFFSH1 departure KSFO. Autoflight/FD tries to switch between them as well.

  10. This may be user error but I don't think so. When programming a route on the ground the ETE between the legs is shown on the F-PLN and PROG pages of the MCDU. After take-off this should change to display ETO based on the current clock time (at least that's what in does in the version of the FCOM that I have). This doesn't happen and the MCDU continues to show ETE on both pages. Any thoughts? Cheers Paul

  12. To be fair the OP talked about virtual memory and v4 has solved that for the foreseeable future, but no dispute from me that you can run out of physical memory if you push the sim hard enough. cheers
