They mean the curvature of a CRT EFIS screen. As the screen is literally a small cathode ray tube television screen the edges start to curve inward as a CRT screen is not flat. Any elements displayed on the screen start to curve slightly depending on viewing position.

As you can see in the picture you are looking towards to FO's main screen from the Captain's seat and there is an illusion of curvature. Looking at the screen in front of you gives off less of this effect.

It dosent matter what monitor you use, its how they model the display in the aircraft. He was just asking if we will have them with the MD
